Aeroflot 593: Pilot's Last Words Before Tragedy

On March 23, 1994, Aeroflot Flight 593 from Moscow to Hong Kong ended in tragedy, killing 75 people. The cause was Captain Yaroslav Kudrinsky's decision to allow his children into the cockpit.

Kudrinsky, an experienced pilot, allowed his 13-year-old daughter Yana and 15-year-old son Eldar to sit in the pilot's seat and experiment with the controls while the aircraft was on autopilot. The pilot's last words were: 'Go back, Eldar!'

This reckless action led to one of the most incredible and tragic aviation accidents.
