Oolong Tea: Burn Fat by Drinking Two Cups a Day

New research from the University of Tsukuba in Japan suggests that drinking oolong tea can increase fat breakdown, even during sleep.
According to Professor Kumpei Tokuyama, head of the research, consuming two cups of oolong tea daily can significantly stimulate fat burning. The research, published in Nutrients, showed that participants who drank oolong tea or caffeine increased their fat breakdown by 20% compared to the control group.
The researchers observed no differences in sleep patterns between the groups, indicating that oolong tea does not affect sleep. Oolong tea, like other types of tea, contains caffeine, but studies show that tea consumption can increase fat breakdown regardless of the effects of caffeine.
Oolong tea comes from the same plant as other types of tea, but its unique oxidation process gives it its special characteristics. It is considered healthy as it contains vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Research suggests that oolong tea could benefit the health of the heart, brain, bones and teeth.
