18-year-old Marios' condition stable after liver transplant

The health condition of 18-year-old Marios from Agrinio, who suffers from the rare Alagille syndrome, remains stable after the liver transplant he underwent on Friday (21/11) in Turin. He will undergo a new surgery tomorrow.
As his mother, Evi Verri, informed via Facebook, doctors deemed an additional surgery necessary. Marios was hospitalized intubated in the Rio hospital before being transferred to Turin.
The diagnosis of Alagille syndrome was made at Saint Luc Hospital in Brussels, where he was hospitalized from the age of 2.5 months. This syndrome causes problems in the liver and heart.
