How Many Hours of Video Games Per Week Harm Health?

A new scientific study from Curtin University in Australia reveals that playing video games for more than 10 hours per week is linked to negative effects on young people's diet, sleep, and body weight.

Researchers studied 317 students and found that those who played more than 10 hours had poorer diet quality and a higher Body Mass Index (BMI).

Professor Mario Siervo noted that the problem is excessive gaming. Researchers recommend frequent breaks, avoiding gaming late at night, and healthy snacks.
