How Many Vacation Days Do You Really Need to Rest?

In today's world, vacations are a necessity. But when do you really start to relax? Experts suggest an ideal vacation period for substantial rest, both physically and mentally.
The psychology of relaxation: The first 2-3 days are transitional. The body tries to disengage from tension. You're still checking your email and thinking about pending tasks. After the first 3-4 days, the body slows down and the nervous system enters a resting state.
The ideal period: 8 to 14 consecutive days is the ideal vacation time. Until the 4th day, you gradually relax. From the 5th to the 10th day, the body regains energy and cortisol levels decrease. In the last few days, the mind is clearer and creativity increases.
Why short vacations are not enough: One-day or two-day getaways do not offer substantial relief. Stress does not subside and the body does not enter a state of rest.
