Pigeons Eat from Patients' Plates in Rio Hospital – Video

Shocking images have been recorded at the University Hospital of Rio, where pigeons are eating from patients' plates. A patient recorded a video with his mobile phone, showing a pigeon wandering undisturbed in a hospital ward.

According to a report by ANT1, the presence of pigeons in the wards is a daily occurrence. Often, the pigeons eat directly from the patients' plates or look for crumbs in the corridors. Patient companions report that pigeons are even found in laboratories.

Although the hospital administration had previously closed the pigeons' nests, they reappeared, building nests around the hospital. When the windows are opened, the pigeons enter the wards. The hospital administration made no comment.
