Five New Innovative Medicines Approved by European Medicines Agency

The European Medicines Agency has granted conditional marketing authorization to five new innovative medicines, referring them to the next stage for final approval. Three of these medicines are for cancer treatments.
Specifically, Adstiladrin targets the treatment of bladder cancer, Imdylltra is a new treatment for aggressive lung cancer, and the third medicine is a maintenance therapy for lung cancer patients whose cancer has not progressed after initial treatment.
Additionally, Joenja received a positive opinion for marketing authorization under exceptional circumstances, intended for the treatment of APDS, a rare, hereditary, and potentially life-threatening immune system disorder. It is estimated that this syndrome affects 1 to 2 people per million worldwide.
The fifth medicine is intended for children and aims to treat edema of cardiac or renal origin, edema of hepatic origin, and hypertension with chronic kidney disease.
