Meningitis Case at PAGNI Hospital – 20-Year-Old Hospitalized

An alert has been raised at the University General Hospital of Heraklion (PAGNI) following the confirmation of a meningitis case in a 20-year-old man.

According to neakriti.gr, the 20-year-old was rushed to the hospital and is currently being treated in the Internal Medicine Clinic under close medical supervision.

Doctors have taken measures to limit transmission and are tracing the patient's contacts, in accordance with public health protocols. The 20-year-old's health condition is constantly being evaluated.
