Kontoangelos: "Achilles heel is young people with leukemia"

Assistant Professor of Psychiatry Konstantinos Kontoangelos spoke to Direct about the psychological support of cancer patients, especially young people with leukemia, and liaison psychiatry.

Mr. Kontoangelos referred to the burden on the psychological state of Greeks due to the coronavirus and the economic crisis, as well as the importance of supporting patients during organ transplants.

He also spoke about the psychiatric support he provided to Ioanna Paliospirou after the acid attack.
