Maria Ekmektsioglou Discharged After Health Scare

Celebrated chef Maria Ekmektsioglou has been discharged from the hospital after a 26-day stay due to pneumonia. She was admitted on January 12, 2026, and returned home on January 29, 2026, to continue her recovery.

Speaking on the show #SuperKaterina, she thanked the public for their support and messages received during her hospitalization. Her treatment will continue at home for approximately one month.

Maria Ekmektsioglou is known in Greece and Turkey for promoting Constantinople cuisine.
