Grigoris Risvas: Access to Dietitian for All

The critical role of the dietitian-nutritionist and the challenges of the sector, especially the integration and compensation of services in the public health system, were analyzed in an interview with Mr. Grigoris Risvas, president of the European Federation of Dietitians Associations (EFAD).

Mr. Risvas emphasized the serious problem of obesity in Greece, even among children, despite the Mediterranean diet. He also highlighted the role of the dietitian in addressing obesity, in collaboration with doctors and psychologists, clarifying that the official term in Greece is Dietitian-Nutritionist.
