Voulkidis: "There is great talent in the team and we will show it"

The men's national team qualified for EuroVolley 2026 with 4 wins in 4 matches, defeating North Macedonia 3-0. Thodoris Voulkidis spoke to Athletiko after the victory.

Voulkidis stated: "We were a better team than Skopje's. We entered the field strongly. We showed our strength. We were better in blocking and defense, and that brought this result."

Referring to the third set, he said: "In the third set, we relaxed a bit. I believe they also came in stronger to take something from this game. But we didn't let them... We didn't give them much room, so we won 3-0."

Regarding EuroVolley 2026, he emphasized: "Our team has shown very good signs this year. I believe it will show a much better face than in previous years. The guys have the will. There is great talent in the team, and I believe we will show it on the field next year."
