Voula Patoulidou: Touching post about her husband

Voula Patoulidou, 33 years after winning the gold medal at the Barcelona Olympics, commemorates the anniversary and remembers her husband, Dimitris Zarzavatsidis, who passed away on July 29 after a long battle with cancer.
In a heartbreaking Instagram post, Patoulidou expressed her love and respect for her husband, writing: "I woke up searching for your hand… The room empty. Our coffee wasn't waiting for me. But I heard your voice. You were my gold, before the gold."
Patoulidou won the gold medal in the 100m hurdles on August 6, 1992, at the Barcelona Olympics, a historic event for Greek sports.
In her post, she thanked her husband for the support he provided her over the years.
