Vlachos: "We deserved the win," said Spain's coach

The coach of the Greek men's national water polo team, Thodoris Vlachos, spoke to ERT after the defeat by Spain in the World Championship semi-finals. He revealed that the Spanish coach told him that Greece deserved the win.

Thodoris Vlachos stated: "We made a stunning appearance. We came close to victory. I want to congratulate the boys for their tremendous mental reserves in defense and attack."

Referring to the deja vu with Croatia, he said: "It's not the same. We felt we deserved the win. Their coach told us that too. We will try not to leave empty-handed."
