Spanoulis: "We need to open up spaces for Giannis"

Vasilis Spanoulis, after Greece's victory over Latvia at OAKA, emphasized the need for team improvement and referred to Giannis Antetokounmpo.

He stated in detail: "We had very good ball movement, except for the third quarter. I am generally very satisfied with our offense, in defense we showed energy and passion. We made some mistakes that we need to correct, but overall I am satisfied."

Regarding Antetokounmpo, he said: "The point is to open up spaces for Giannis Antetokounmpo, to have shooters around him and for him to decide when to create and when to score. I am interested in getting open shots."
