Coach Giannis Kollias Passes Away at 92

Coach Giannis Kollias has passed away at the age of 92, causing sadness in Greek football.

The sad news was announced by his daughter, Georgia, through a post on social media.

Giannis Kollias was one of the most respected Greek coaches. He served as coach of the National Youth Team (1971-1975) and the National U-21 Team, while he also worked for teams such as Pierikos, Olympiakos Volou, Korinthos, Niki Volou, and Panargiakos. In 2003, he served as caretaker coach for Olympiacos.
