The coach of the Greek women's national water polo team, Haris Pavlidis, stated after the historic 14-10 victory over the USA in the World Championship semi-final in Singapore, that his team played brilliantly despite biased refereeing.

In his statements to ERT, Pavlidis emphasized that his team not only won but did so under adverse conditions. He also mentioned that the American coach told him that the Greek players were unstoppable.

"What impressed me was the soul we showed. Their coach told me that you are fast and we can't keep up with you," Haris Pavlidis stated.

Pavlidis added that his team improved after the match against Australia and expressed his desire to face Hungary in the final.
