Men's EuroVolley Qualifiers: Greece Defeats Georgia 3-0

The Greek national men's team defeated Georgia with 3-0 sets (16-25, 10-25, 15-25) in a match for the qualifiers of the 2026 European Championship. The match took place in the city of Rustavi and lasted 67 minutes.

The top scorer for Greece was Stavros Mouchlias, who at the age of 17 scored 11 points in his first official appearance with the national men's team.

With this victory, Greece took an important step towards qualifying for the final phase of the European Championship. To mathematically secure qualification, they need two sets in the next match against North Macedonia, which will be held on Wednesday (13/8, 20:00) at Rentis arena.
