Ermioni Gkika: World Champion in ILCA 6 Youth

Ermioni Gkika won the gold medal at the ILCA 6 Youth Sailing World Championship in Los Angeles.

In January 2024, she won the silver medal in Argentina in the U17 category of the Olympic class ILCA 6, followed by another silver at the Youth World Championship in Italy.

In April, in Portugal, she was crowned European champion in ILCA 6 Youth. In the race in Los Angeles, Gkika stood out for her consistency in the 12 races, accumulating 32 points.

Also, Alexandros Kyfidis finished 5th and Erotokritos Nikolaos Komianos finished 7th, also winning the silver medal in the U17 category.
