Hellenic Basketball Federation Files Lawsuit Against Basket League Coach

The Hellenic Basketball Federation (EOK) has filed a lawsuit against a coach of a team participating in the Basket League. The lawsuit concerns defamatory statements made by the coach against the federation.

According to the EOK's announcement, the decision was taken unanimously by the EOK's Board of Directors at today's meeting. The lawsuit concerns the coach's defamatory remarks during the last matchday held on November 15-16, 2025.

The EOK will inform all involved parties, including the Sports Prosecutor, about this development, in accordance with the new provisions of Article 41 Paragraph 5 of Law 2725/1999.
