Emmanouil Karalis: Historic 6.08m Vault and New Record

Emmanouil Karalis made history at the Panhellenic Athletics Championship in Volos, achieving a 6.08m vault in the pole vault. This performance ranks him fourth best of all time, behind Duplantis, Lavillenie, and Bubka.
The 26-year-old athlete improved his personal and national record. In a previous interview with Athletiko, he stated that his goal was to surpass Miltiadis Tentoglou in the ranking of top athletes, which has now been achieved.
With his jump, Karalis scored 1289 points, leaving behind Louis Tsatoumas (1282 points) and Miltiadis Tentoglou (1281 points).
