Emmanouela Katzouraki: European Shooting Champion

Emmanouela Katzouraki won the gold medal at the 2025 European Shooting Championship, held in Châteauroux, France. The 25-year-old athlete triumphed in the women's solo skeet final.

The shooter from Chania, who had previously achieved 5th place at the Paris Olympic Games, confirmed her excellent form by defeating Russian Turulo.

In addition, Babis Chalkiadakis won the bronze medal in the men's category, while Efraim Nikolantonakis also won the bronze medal in the junior skeet event.
