Greek Referees Congratulate Evaggelou, Thank Lanoy

Greek referees have congratulated Mr. Evaggelou on his appointment for the Greek Cup final and thanked Mr. Lanoy of the Central Refereeing Committee (KED) for choosing an all-Greek refereeing team.

In a joint statement, the Super League referees and assistants emphasized that Mr. Evaggelou's appointment is the culmination of his career. They also thanked the president of EPO, Mr. Gagkatsis, for the overall framework of refereeing appointments in the Greek Cup.

The referees highlighted that throughout the competition, the matches were officiated by all-Greek teams, with the exception of the matches between the Big 4 teams, where foreign VAR officials were appointed.

In their statement, the referees pledged to continue working with consistency and professionalism for the further development of Greek refereeing.
