Ferry Ban: Cancellations and Disruptions for Travelers

Due to strong winds reaching 7 to 8 Beaufort, a ferry ban is in effect for several routes departing from the ports of Attica. Passengers are advised to contact port authorities and shipping companies for updates.

From the port of Piraeus, the Blue Star Patmos departs at 23:59 instead of 15:00 for the Dodecanese, the Blue Star 1 at 22:00 instead of 17:30 for the Cyclades, and the Ariadne at 23:59 instead of 20:00 for Chios and Mytilene.

In the Argosaronic Gulf, routes are operating normally with the approval of the captains, while some companies have made cancellations. From Rafina, routes are only operating to Marmari and Agia Marina-Nea Styra. No routes to the Cyclades are operating. The ferry ban remains in effect from the port of Lavrio.
