Anastasia Athini Passes Away – She Had Slapped Dimitra Liani

Anastasia Athini passed away at the age of 77. She was known for slapping Dimitra Liani at the Arcade of the Book.

The funeral service will be held on Sunday, January 25, at 11:00 a.m., at the Church of Agios Ioannis in Monastiraki, Vonitsa, her place of origin.

Anastasia Athini was born in Monastiraki, Vonitsa, and studied Law. She was a member of the Athens Bar Association and various other associations.

The incident with Dimitra Liani took place when Athini waited in line to slap Liani. After the incident, she was taken to the police station and sentenced to imprisonment, which later ceased to exist after an appeal.
