School Occupation After 16-Year-Old's Death in Gazi

The model EPAL Tavros school is under occupation following the death of a 16-year-old outside a club in Gazi. Classmates initiated the occupation, expressing dissatisfaction with the way the school administration handled the tragic event.

In a statement, the school's student council stated that the occupation is a sign of respect for the student and a protest against the lack of sensitivity from the administration. The students allege that the school operated normally on the day of the funeral, despite the initial promise to the contrary, and that music continues to be played during breaks, which they consider disrespectful.
