€11 Million Donation for Evangelismos Hospital Reconstruction

Costa Mare, owned by the Konstantakopoulos family, has donated €11 million for the reconstruction of two historical buildings at Evangelismos Hospital. The Minister of Health, Adonis Georgiadis, announced the start of the works, emphasizing that the Ministry of Health will contribute an additional €15 million from the Public Investment Program.

The donation concerns the complete reconstruction of a 7,000 sq.m. building, aiming to create modern classrooms, laboratories, offices, an amphitheater, and a gymnasium. The works are expected to be completed within 18 months.

In addition, reconstruction works are expected to begin in October on another hospital building, with a budget of €15 million from the Public Investment Program.

Adonis Georgiadis expressed gratitude to the Konstantakopoulos family, while Achilleas Konstantakopoulos stated that the donation is a token of gratitude to the hospital.
