Antonis Samaras: First Interview After Daughter's Death

Antonis Samaras gave his first interview to ANT1 after the loss of his daughter, Lena Samara, who passed away in August 2025 at the age of 34. The interview with Irena Argyri was recorded on October 31, 2025, and aired on Sunday, November 9.

The former Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the Greek people for the support and love his family received. "I thank God even for those 34 years that Lena was with us," he stated.

Referring to the loss, Antonis Samaras emphasized that his family is deeply Christian and that is how they approach Lena's memory.
