In a previous interview, Genevieve Mazari spoke about meeting Vasilis Karidis: "I saw Vasilis and... I was lost. I was going down the stairs in the studio and he was going up. As soon as I saw him, I thought, 'Who is this?' I saw Jack Nicholson."

Their first meeting took place in a tavern, where they immediately felt comfortable, as Genevieve Mazari stated.
