Vaso Kazantzidi: Recalling the Eventful First Date with Stelios Kazantzidis

Vaso Kazantzidi gave an interview on the show "Tet a Tet" with Tasos Tryfonos, revealing details about her relationship with Stelios Kazantzidis. Their meeting took place in Thessaloniki in 1978.

She mentioned that she did not immediately fall in love with Stelios, but their relationship gradually developed. "I didn't fall in love with Stelios, we just went on a first-second-third-fourth date," she stated. As she described, Stelios was sweet and kind, winning her over with his manner.

Their first date was particularly unexpected. Vaso was dressed formally, while Stelios showed up in flip-flops and shorts. They went to Nea Plagia in Halkidiki, where Stelios and his company went fishing. "He puts me in the car and we go to Nea Plagia in Halkidiki, he had arranged with his company to fish, catch fish and eat them. Fresh fish, I paid dearly!" she said humorously.

The next day, the adventure continued with the search for bait under the sun, before returning home in the afternoon.
