Spain Mourns the Death of Verónica Echegui

Echegui was recognized for her talent and social awareness, and in 2022 she won the Goya Award for the short film Tótem Loba, which was based on her personal experience of sexual abuse.

Her last television role was in the Apple TV+ series Love You To Death.
