Final Farewell to Melpo Zarokosta

Relatives, friends, and colleagues are bidding farewell to Melpo Zarokosta at the First Cemetery of Athens. The actress passed away last Friday, January 16, at the age of 92, at the Athens Nursing Home.

Melpo Zarokosta suffered from dementia and had undergone several surgeries, according to statements by her son last November. Her son stated that in her last days, she had stopped eating and that he was opposed to intubation.
