Greek Singer Arrested for Insulting Police Officers

A well-known Greek folk singer was arrested in Almyros on Tuesday evening, July 29, for illegal parking and insulting police officers.
According to reports, during checks for illegal parking, authorities found the singer's car obstructing traffic. When the singer was informed, he rushed to the scene and argued with the police officers, claiming he had parked temporarily to transport equipment.
The situation escalated when he allegedly repeatedly insulted the police officers, who proceeded to arrest him. A case file was opened against him for violence against employees and insult. The singer was brought before Justice and requested time to be tried on Friday.
The incident has sparked discussions in the artistic circles of the area.
