Brigitte Bardot's estranged son attends her funeral

A large crowd, including friends and family, bid farewell to Brigitte Bardot in Saint-Tropez. Among those present was her son, Nicolas Charrier, whom she had from her second marriage to actor Jacques Charrier.

Brigitte Bardot had spoken openly about her reluctance to become a mother. After the divorce, her son's father took custody. Nicolas Charrier traveled from Norway, where he permanently resides, to attend the funeral.

Also present at the funeral were her fourth husband, Bernard d'Ormale, Minister for Gender Equality Aurore Bergé, as well as personalities such as Mireille Mathieu and Paul Belmondo. The procession passed through the port of Saint-Tropez, while Brigitte Bardot will be buried in the family tomb in the city.
