Petros Iakovidis: "I Reached 98 Kilos Due to Cortisone and Sadness"

Petros Iakovidis spoke about his health problem, revealing that he took cortisone and, due to his sadness, reached 98 kilos. In an interview on the vidcast "Daily Kous-Kous", the singer explained that his health problem was related to his throat and sinusitis, which affected his voice when he sang.

"I had a health problem and I had a problem with my throat due to sinusitis. When I went out to sing, my voice would shut down. I was taking cortisone. Because of my sadness, because when you're sad you either turn to drink or food, I was somewhere in between both [...] I reached 98 kilos," he said.

Petros Iakovidis also referred to the support of his family, emphasizing the role of his father and the difficulties his mother faced.
