Actress Elena Karpeta Passes Away

The artistic world is in mourning following the news of the death of actress and director Elena Karpeta. The news was announced by her colleague, Evdokimos Tsolakidis, via social media.

In his Instagram post, Evdokimos Tsolakidis mentioned that Elena Karpeta was his first teacher at the National Theatre of Northern Greece (KTHBE) and the founder of the Stoa Theatre. Elena Karpeta was also the first wife of Nikos Xanthopoulos.
