Actor Panos Stathakopoulos spoke about his childhood and working during the summers. In an interview, he mentioned that he did not have the opportunity to go on vacation because he was working, so his first contact with the sea was in high school.

Referring to the difficulties of child labor, Panos Stathakopoulos stressed that agricultural work was the most demanding, due to the many hours of work and exposure to high temperatures. Specifically, he stated: "I didn't know the sea, because I worked all summers. I never went on vacation as a child, because I was always working. I swam for the first time in high school".

In addition, Panos Stathakopoulos noted that working in the fields, such as harvesting watermelons and peppers, was particularly tiring due to constant exposure to the heat and long hours of work.
