Steven Spielberg Achieves EGOT Status with First Grammy Win

Steven Spielberg has won his first Grammy Award, achieving EGOT status, a distinction held by artists who have won an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony Award.
The award was presented to Spielberg as the producer of the documentary Music By John Williams, which was named Best Music Film at the Grammy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles.
The film explores the life of John Williams, composer and long-time collaborator of Steven Spielberg, known for his work on films such as E.T., Jaws, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, and Schindler’s List.
Spielberg has already won multiple Oscars and Emmys, as well as a Tony Award in 2022 for the musical A Strange Loop.
The director was not present at the ceremony, but the film's director, Laurent Bouzereau, thanked Spielberg for his contribution.
Furthermore, Spielberg is expected to contend for another Oscar as the producer of Chloe Zhao's film Hamnet.
