Grigoris Gountaras Victim of TikTok Scam: "I Gave My Data"

Grigoris Gountaras fell victim to a scam on TikTok, as he revealed himself. The journalist spoke on the show "Kalokairi Parea" describing the incident.

According to Gountaras, he received a notification on TikTok asking him to verify his data. Unfortunately, he provided his data without realizing that the message was fake.

Grigoris Gountaras contacted the Cybercrime Division, which advised him not to respond to any message that seems suspicious.

As Grigoris Gountaras explained, the hackers were impersonating TikTok representatives via WhatsApp and tried to convince him to follow specific steps to recover his account. The Cybercrime Division urged him not to respond.
