Dora Makrygianni: From Insurance Agent to Actress

Actress Dora Makrygianni spoke about her decision to change careers and pursue acting, while she was working as an insurance agent.

In an interview on the show "Noris-Noris," Dora Makrygianni revealed that a director encouraged her to get involved in theater. Her success in a performance made her realize that acting was the profession she wanted to pursue.

"Before I became an actress, I worked as an insurance agent in my dad's office. I loved it as a profession, but I couldn't do it for a lifetime. Fortunately, my father respected it too," the actress said.

Dora Makrygianni described her experience in the play "Red Lanterns" in Aigio as decisive for her decision to change careers.

"I made the decision to change my life and come to Athens literally overnight," she concluded.
