Nirvana: 'Nevermind' Baby Sues Band Over Album Cover

Spencer Elden, the baby featured on Nirvana's 'Nevermind' album cover, has filed a lawsuit against the band, surviving members, Courtney Love, and photographer Kirk Weddle. The lawsuit alleges 'child sexual exploitation' and violation of child pornography laws.

Elden is seeking damages, claiming the image has psychologically impacted his life. Initially, the lawsuit was dismissed, but Elden refiled in 2023, citing the album's 30th-anniversary reissue.

Nirvana, through their legal representative, stated the lawsuit lacks legal merit. The case has sparked reactions and discussions regarding consent, artistic expression, and image rights.
