Natalia Lionaki's Mother: 'I don't care about the matter anymore'

The mother of Natalia Lionaki, a former actress who became a nun, expressed her disappointment with her daughter's choices. In statements to 'To Proino', her mother stated that she had dedicated her life to raising Natalia and considers her behavior ungrateful.

'I don't care at all if my daughter is happy. Is she my daughter? Since she has no mother. I am her mother by flesh. Isn't that right? I mean, I gave birth to her, abandoned her, she grew up alone. I had my whole life dedicated to my child,' she stated characteristically.

Natalia Lionaki has changed her name to Fevronia and has moved to a monastery in Tanzania.

When asked if she looks at old photos, her mother replied: 'Why? To hurt? I've put everything in a drawer and closed it. It's not worth it'.
