Marianna Toumasatou to Collaborate with Petros Filippidis' Son

Marianna Toumasatou will collaborate in a play with Dimitris Filippidis, son of Petros Filippidis. The actress stated that Dimitris is an independent personality and bears no responsibility for his father's actions.

In an interview on the show «Hamogela kai Pali», Marianna Toumasatou explained that she had no second thoughts about the collaboration, as she considers Dimitris a good colleague and a talented child. «Dimitris is another personality, independent of his parents and that's how we should treat him,» she said.

Toumasatou has repeatedly spoken out against Petros Filippidis in the past, who was convicted of two attempted rapes. However, she stressed that there is no reason to disagree with Dimitris, who has suffered a lot and should not bear anyone's stigma.

Asked if she would be upset if Petros Filippidis and Elpida Ninou watched the play, she replied: «Whose parents should I be angry with for going to see their child?»

Marianna Toumasatou stated in July 2025 that she was sure of Petros Filippidis' guilt.
