Macron: Brigitte Bardot embodied a life of freedom

French President Emmanuel Macron commented on Brigitte Bardot in a post regarding her death at the age of 91. Macron emphasized that Bardot embodied a life of freedom and had a French existence but also global brilliance.

"Her films, her voice, her dazzling glory, her initials, her sorrows, her generous passion for animals, her face that became Marianne. Brigitte Bardot embodied a life of freedom," Macron wrote.

"She touched us. We mourn a legend of the century," the French president concluded.
