Loukila Karrer-Plessa: Tribute to Mimis Plessas

In a rare interview, Loukila Karrer-Plessa, partner of Mimis Plessas for nearly four decades, remembers the great composer nine months after his death.

Karrer-Plessa spoke about their life together, calling it "a divine gift, a divine journey." She emphasized the trust that Mimis Plessas showed her, leaving her the responsibility of managing his work, with the aim of spreading it to new generations.

She also spoke about the composer's optimistic outlook on life and his desire to see his songs reinterpreted by new artists. She specifically mentioned Mimis Plessas's appreciation for Antonis Remos and other performers.

Finally, she described how Mimis Plessas "exists" in their home, through his objects and her memories.

On July 11, 13 and 14, a tribute musical journey to the music of Mimis Plessas will take place in Larnaca, Episkopeio and Limassol.
