Lambros Konstantaras Criticizes Maria Kozakou's Statements on ERT

Lambros Konstantaras expressed his displeasure with Maria Kozakou's statements regarding the philosophy of public television (ERT) programs and its relationship with the public. The statements were made on the show «Ραντεβού το ΣΚ».

Lambros Konstantaras commented: "Mrs. Kozakou is very likeable and very capable, but even the presenters reacted somewhat. You can't try to call a glass a pumpkin."

Referring to the comparison between public and private television made by Maria Kozakou, Konstantaras stated: "When you answer that private channels are also paid for through advertising, I think you had nothing to say. Inaccurate comparison. People pay 3 euros to DEI. I don't agree that people should feel like program directors."

Ioanna Maleskou, present at the discussion, added: "She spoke of slow-burning programs on the one hand, but rapid funding on the other. All this creates an imbalance."

Despite the criticism, Lambros Konstantaras acknowledged the significant development of public television in recent years.
