Kostas Terzakis: Revelations about the 'Blessed One' in 'Lampsi'

Actor Kostas Terzakis spoke about his role as the 'Blessed One' in Nikos Foskolos' popular series 'Lampsi'. In an interview on the show 'Studio 4', he revealed that no one knew his identity behind the mask.

Terzakis played the 'Blessed One', a masked killer who aimed to 'cleanse the world'. As he mentioned, Nikos Foskolos had stipulated that he should not reveal to anyone that he was behind the role. In fact, he went to Eleni Menegaki's show, 'Morning Coffee', twice wearing the mask.

'I was never interested in my image and my face. I was more interested and still am in the result of my work being pleasant and effective in entertaining the public,' said Kostas Terzakis.

Terzakis explained that Foskolos had seen him in a performance and offered him the role. 'He was a very modern and dynamic man... I really liked it as a challenge,' he said.

He also revealed that there was a confidentiality agreement and that no one knew his identity for about nine months. 'It was not leaked who the Blessed One was, we kept it a secret... I went twice as a guest on Eleni Menegaki's show wearing the mask. Darkness, smoke... And I was talking to her as the Blessed One,' he concluded.
