Katia Dandoulaki: Revealing the last phone call with Nikos Galanos

Katia Dandoulaki spoke to Tasos Tryfonos on the show βTet a Tetβ about the recent passing of Nikos Galanos and their engagement that never led to marriage.
"Nikos and I had a phone appointment, ten days before he 'left'. I said, 'We'll go eat together, come on, I'll pick you up.' Because, he says, he might be able to do some filming in Cyprus. 'Come on, I'll pick you up, but we'll go just the two of us, okay? Not with groups,' I say, 'just the two of us,'" Katia Dandoulaki described.
"We met when we were 20 years old. And Nikos and I became essentially friends after we broke up. We did things together after we broke up, under extremely loving conditions," the actress confessed.
When asked why Nikos Galanos never spoke publicly about their engagement, Katia Dandoulaki replied: "It's not nice to sell your personal issue."
"It was my first relationship, but we broke up very quickly. Two-two and a half years. Very quickly. Because it never got to marriage... When you are very young, you get very easily excited and engaged and you think it's simple," Katia Dandoulaki admitted.
