Kate Winslet to Star in New Lord of the Rings Film

Kate Winslet is set to star in the new film The Lord of the Rings: The Hunt for Gollum. The Oscar-winning actress will take on one of the main female roles.

According to Deadline, filming is expected to begin in May in New Zealand and will last until October. Andy Serkis will direct, and he will also return as Gollum. The cast will also include Elijah Wood as Frodo Baggins and Ian McKellen as Gandalf.
