Giorgos Karavas: "I worried about my children"

Giorgos Karavas spoke about his family's adventure in the Maldives, shortly before the outbreak of war in the Middle East.

In an interview on the show "Breakfast@Star", Giorgos Karavas mentioned that his family and he arrived in Greece one day before the war started. He explained that they were initially not allowed to board the connecting flight in Sharjah, coming from Male.

"I was mainly worried about my children," he emphasized, describing the intense argument he had with the airport officials. "It was a given that we would not stay there," he added, mentioning that they finally managed to return to Greece.
